Welcome to 2021, and welcome to YouTube, the place where people will do anything to get your attention. Yes, anything and everything, from pranking their kids to performing daredevil stunts and doing engine swaps that most people would find downright offensive.
Not that there's anything wrong with that; after all, it's a free world. But, just as you don't swap in an LS engine inside a Mazda RX-7, purists will also agree that you shouldn't perform the same swap in a Ford Mustang either. But it seems that Boosted Lifestyle thinks differently, and due mainly to the difference in building costs, the decision was made to swap in a small block 5.3-liter LS engine.

Then the car started going through another transformation process, as the intention was for that engine to be force-fed via a triple-turbo system because one turbo or two turbos just aren't enough these days. The car did manage to run an 8.63-second quarter-mile (402 m), which is quite impressive, but the owner just felt the need for more turbos.

And so, sometime around November last year, the decision was made. He had built a quad turbo Honda in the past, so why not follow the same recipe, and use one turbo for each cylinder of the engine? And so the eight-turbo, LS-swapped Ford Mustang project was born. That does sound difficult to take in, doesn't it?

Some followers even argued that he should use a 9th turbo so that the previous eight would feed into that, but it seems that, for now, the owner of this car is going to stick to the original plan, mentioning that in the future, he will probably be looking into V10 and V12 ideas as well.

Anyway, due to the snowy conditions in Canada, and probably due to strict traffic regulations, the owner of this Frankenstein-like Mustang decided to do a burnout in the garage. The car does sound pretty ferocious to say the least, and we're curious to see if that crazy setup will actually be effective at the drag strip as well.
