We are truly blessed with the technology of our days as you can experience what it feels like to drive a car you've been dreaming about from the comfort of your home. That works on multiple levels. For example, you may not have the budget to actually buy one, or maybe you're considering a purchase but you need to get a better feel of things.
POV videos such as this one can really serve as a tool for anyone looking to experience something that they maybe couldn't in the past. It would definitely be even better if you could do it in VR, but we aren't going to complain about it because it doesn't generate any additional costs, and it doesn't require you to get out of your chair.

The car on display for today is the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. While the entry-level Ford Mustang starts at $26,670, you're going to have to pay more than twice for a Shelby model. Until recently, Ford has been offering a selection of three Shelby-badged Mustangs, including the Shelby GT350, the Shelby GT350R, and the Shelby GT500.

While the GT500 packs the biggest punch of them all, with 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft (847 Nm) of torque being developed by the Supercharged 5.2-Liter V8, the GT350R was still the most expensive of the bunch before being discontinued in fall 2020, with its MSRP starting at $73,435.

The car in the video, while not the top-of-the-range vehicle available, is still pretty impressive on its own, with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 under the hood that can send 526 horsepower to the rear wheels. With a weight of 3,703 lbs (1,679 kg), the Shelby GT350 can launch from a standstill to 60 mph (96 kph) in just 4.2 seconds.

The driver gives us a tour of the vehicle, and it does looks amazing in that Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue Tape Stripes. We get a quick glimpse of the engine compartment, and then witness a spirited launch and drive around some canyon roads. That's just the type of driving you'd expect to see with a car like this one.
