As opposed to the 2018 model year Demon and the 1,025-horsepower Demon 170, the Super Stock isn't a limited production car. Unleashed for the 2020 model year, the 807-horsepower muscle car is best described as half Redeye and half Demon.
Launched on the Demon, the Launch Assist system is – obviously enough – standard on the Super Stock. Other go-faster goodies from the Demon Race Cooldown and Torque Reserve. Stupidly fast even by 2024 standards, the Challenger SRT Super Stock is no more. In fact, Chrysler ended L-platform vehicle production in December 2023.

You can find a used example of the Super Stock on virtually all US-based platforms, but you will rarely find one such as 2C3CDZL93NH121791. Listed on Bring a Trailer with merely 80 miles (128 kilometers) on the clock, this F8 Green-painted Super Stock is a very well optioned 2022 model.

The seller kindly provided the window sticker, which lists a base price of $63,530 for the Hellcat and a total price of $99,600 after options and taxes, including $1,595 for delivery, $2,100 for the gas guzzler tax, and $20,600 for the Super Stock specification. The second most expensive option is the Plus Package, which brings forth ventilated front seats, premium stitching for the dashboard, memory side mirrors, memory function for the driver seat, memory radio, dark interior accents, and a power-adjustable steering column.

The current owner purchased 2C3CDZL93NH121791 in August 2022. Approximately 60 miles (97 kilometers) have been racked up since then, which makes the car before your eyes a garage queen. Be that as it may, keeping the miles low appears to have paid off. The highest bid currently stands at $80,000 with four days of bidding left, meaning that we could see this Nitto drag radial-equipped car exceed a hundred grand.

As a muscle car enthusiast myself, it pains me to acknowledge that Hellcat versions of the Challenger will be selling for big money in the coming years. In addition to Chrysler ending L-platform vehicle production, bear in mind that Dodge's next muscle car is a three-door liftback with electric and inline-six powertrains. Twin-turbo I6, that is, which is more BMW than Mopar in my book. The 2025 Dodge Charger's 800-volt Banshee powertrain is expected with more than 800 horsepower to its name, although there's a bit of room for improvement.

Stellantis, namely the Netherlands-based colossus formed by the merger of PSA with FCA, originally advertised the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore with 1,200 metric ponies to its name. However, due to battery tech limitations, the Italian grand tourer maxes out at 761 ps (751 hp) for the time being.

Also worthy of note, 2024 will be the final year of the Hellcat engine in production vehicles. The 6.2-liter supercharged V8's final applications are the Ram 1500 TRX and a yet-to-be-unveiled Last Call special edition of the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat. The latter will debut for the 2025 model year.

Not long now, Stellantis will rely on three main platforms in the US market: STLA Medium (think next-generation Jeep Compass), STLA Large (think Dodge Charger and Jeep Wagoneer S), and STLA Frame (only the 2025 Ram 1500 REV thus far). The automotive world is certain to mourn the canning of the HEMI engine, but looking at the glass half full, Ford still makes Coyote and Predator engines. Better still, GM is currently developing the Gen VI small block for – presumably – full-size trucks and the ninth generation of the Corvette.
