There have been multiple rumors that Buick would also give us an estate version of the Regal. This made sense, for multiple reasons. First of all, the project would be a facile one, as the Regal is based on the Opel Insignia, which already has a wagon version, so the efforts to develop it would be microscopic.
In addition to that, the vehicle would allow Buick to expand its cover and appeal to more customers. However, it seems that the carmaker has decided to cancel the project, as Insideline reports.
