2012 Buick Verano to Start at $23,470

The pricing for the 2012 Buick Verano has recently been announced and it seems like the car will play on the "reasonable" card, as it will set you back less than a hefty part of its competitors.
The 2012 Verano starts at $23,470 (the price includes the $885 destination charge), with the list of standard features including leather seating, high-resolution 7-inch diagonal LED backlit color-touch radio display with IntelliLink technology and 10 air bags, as well as automatic climate control, remote start, power windows and steering wheel radio controls.

Customers can choose between three versions, all of which are powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 180hp at 6,700 rpm and 171 lb-ft of torque at 4,900 rpm, being matted to a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The most expensive trim level will set you back at least $26,850, for which you get goodies such as the same interior materials like in the La Crosse and a remote start function. You can also choose multiple optional extras, such as a heated leather steering wheel. The designers claim that they have used warm tones for the interior in order to offer a pleasant appearance.

"Verano is a great new addition to Buick because it expands the brand's reach," said Tony DiSalle, U.S. vice president of Buick Marketing. "With Verano, we're inviting new customers into the Buick family, giving us the opportunity and privilege of building longtime Buick loyalty."
