This brand-new Ford F-450 Super Duty Limited looks like a wolf in sheep's clothing. With its light gray paintwork, it could trick you into believing it is a tamed pickup truck, ready to submissively follow orders. Oh, no, no way in the world! It is obviously a truck on steroids that left its stock self far behind, probably somewhere at the factory gate.
226.2 inches (5,745 millimeters) of fury in length. 96 inches (2,438 millimeters) of madness in width. 81 inches (2,057 millimeters) of ferociousness in height. All wrapped in a package that tips the scales at 8,500 pounds (3,628 kilograms).

That is more than three Toyota Corollas combined. That is, actually, the commanding and muscular 2024 Ford F-450 Super Duty Limited. Ford sells it as the almighty workhorse.

But the way it looks right now, you wouldn't be caught dead in the off-road or hauling anything but human passengers and towing nothing but a tiny home up on a trailer. Because this thing can really tow! Ford mentions the jaw-dropping 40,000-pound (18,144-kilogram) towing capability.

Why have we put you through all these numbers? You're right, a picture is worth a thousand words. But we are trying to deliver the whole picture here, numbers included, because what you see is what you get when it comes to this F-450 Gulliver.

Bold and rugged, and everything in between, the model has only recently rolled off the production line and comes with the reputation of being part of the series that has known popularity at its best. The F-Series has been the best-selling pickup truck line in the United States. In 1981, it became the best-selling vehicle overall, a title it has held since.

Usually a rival for both the Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 3500 HD, this particular model now leaves them both in a cloud of dust with its extra equipment.

The brand-new 2024 Ford F-450 Supr Duty Limited that ended up on eBay is far from stock. It's got aftermarket paintwork in gray with a shade of baby blue, called Glacier Tuxedo, over an Admiral Blue/Light Slate Leather interior. It rides on huge 26-inch multi-spoke forged wheels from JTX with 37-inch M/T tires.

And those don't tell half the story. It sports a 4-inch Wicked lift kit, Fox shocks, and dual steering stabilizers. "Max recline seats and everything else," the listing says, with no hint to what "everything else" actually means.

The vehicle is powered by Ford's 6.7-liter PowerStroke Biodiesel V8 that pumps out 500 horsepower and an impressive 1,200 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a ten-speed shiftable automatic, which sends power and torque to all six wheels mounted across two axles.

When it drives through the factory gate, the standard F-450 has to settle for the stock 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet. But it is a Limited version that we are dealing with here. However, the owner did not interfere with the V8.

The model is listed on eBay, but also on the Instagram page of a dealership. Even though it is only a few months old, it sells as "used," with only 106 miles on the clock, in showroom condition. The price starts at $164,900. The stock F-450 Crew Cab kicks off at $64,455. So that is almost four times more. However, the Limited version is a $105,030 affair.
