After learning about the imminent retirement of Jim McDowell, the man that led the MINI USA team for the last 8 years, we’ve also heard news that other management positions will be occupied by new people starting next year.
Peter Miles, the Executive Vice-President of Operations for now, will be taking over as Vice President of Sales Channel Development and Customer Relations, a newly created position. His place will be taken by Chris Koenders who is, at the moment, the President of BMW Group Netherlands.

David Duncan, the current Western Region Vice President will be replacing Jim McDowell whilst Peter Witt will be moving from Sweden to the US to take over where Peter Witt left off, leaving his position as Managing Director of BMW Sweden.

"We are intensifying our customer-driven focus and these changes will influence the entire organization to continue improving all phases of the customer journey from prospect to purchase and throughout the ownership cycle," says Ludwig Willisch, president and CEO of BMW NA.
