Unlike other journalists out there, the guys from Autoguide decided to wait until the i3 reached American soil to share their opinion of the new EV from BMW, instead of going to Amsterdam. Now, they just published a video review of the new car and we’re here to talk about it, as usual.

The first half of the video is more an introduction to the specs of the i-brand car, just to make sure everyone understands why there’s such a hype going around this EV at the moment. The car has 170 HP and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque coming out of the electric unit, sending it from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 7.2 seconds, a lot faster than any competitor. Furthermore, a full charge can carry you for up to 120 miles (in ECO PRO mode) or 100 miles in comfort mode.

The last part of the video is about the way this Bimmer drives and feel inside the city (because that’s its natural habitat). As many people before them claimed, the one-pedal driving is really interesting and quite exciting in some cases. On the road, the car feels tight and agile allowing you to switch lanes quickly if you need to. We won’t go into further detail, we’ll let you watch the review in the video below. Enjoy!
