In the wake of a complete revolution in the way people think of BMWs, the i sub-brand will play an important part. The first car that’s part of this revolution is the i3.
The EV was already launched in Germany and other European countries back in November. Around that time we also found out that if you want one you should put an order in as soon as possible, as you might find yourself waiting a couple of months for it to be delivered as orders are pouring in.

It seems like the i3 will turn out to be very successful but how does it feel down the road? The guys from Autos.ca went to Amsterdam to check it out and, after a couple of days behind the wheel, they wrote one of the best reviews of the car I read so far.

They took their time and even went over the infrastructure the Dutch have and rightfully so. One of the biggest problems for the i3 (and electric cars in general) is the infrastructure, namely the abundance (or lack of) charging points.

Other things they insisted on were the interior and the way the car handles inside a busy city (it doesn’t get much more crowded than in the Dutch capital), both of them being praised in the end.
