Following the success the XD3 Biturbo claimed alongside the D3 Biturbo, the guys from Alpina recently launched the facelifted version of the D5 Biturbo with a brand new video.
The LCI D5 Biturbo uses the same 3-liter bi-turbo engine found on its brothers that develops 350 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque and all the power is being sent to the rear wheels through a revised 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The performances are also incredible. The D5 models reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.1 seconds for the Sedan and 5.3 seconds for the Touring version. At the same time, fuel consumption is limited around 7.1 l/100 km (33.1 mpg).
With such incredible numbers and the refreshed design of the 5 Series F10 LCI, it's hard to find a reason not to like the D5 models. Oh, wait… There's one: the price. The Sedan starts at EUR70,950 whilst the Touring starts at EUR74,350.
