Since BMW launched the LCI version of its F10 5 Series a few months ago, it was about time that Alpina followed closely. They just posted a new video on their Youtube account, officially announcing the new B5 Biturbo.
The new model is based on the LCI F10 550i, a car that has a 4.4-liter V8 engine under the bonnet with 450 HP and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque but it was put through the usual Alpina treatment.
The B5 Biturbo now has 540 HP and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque and incredible performances. It's available in both Sedan and Touring versions but only with rear-wheel-drive.
Performance-wise things are really getting out of control. With a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 323 km/h (202 mph) you can be sure not too many cars can keep up with you.
Prices start at EUR99,200 for the Sedan and EUR102,520 for the Touring version.
