RTR Vehicles, an American aftermarket company known for its affiliation with Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the Blue Oval company, isn't as old as the Ford Mustang – it was founded by the professional drifter back in 2009. But they're striving to make up for the lost time, indeed.
RTR stands for 'Ready to Rock' and has gained notoriety thanks to its founder's charm and witty entrepreneurial spirit. The Ford Mustang, on the other hand, doesn't need any introduction anymore. Curiously, the S650 seventh generation introduced for the 2024 model year might hold the uneasy honor of being the last ICE-powered pony/muscle car among the Big Detroit Three.

First shown at the 2022 North American International Auto Show, the 2024 Ford Mustang is produced at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant and kicked off sales late this summer. Of course, the EcoBoost and Coyote V8-powered models are a hot commodity right now, as everyone is trying to make the best of it – whether at the track, at the local car meet, or anywhere else.

That includes aftermarket suppliers, and given Ford's tight relationship with Vaughn Gittin Jr., nobody should be surprised that his RTR Vehicles is among the first outlets with a 2024 catalog of parts. In fact, their "signature look with a new-school twist" is so attractive for the seventh-gen Mustang that some elements are currently listed as sold out.

For example, the $630 RTR upper grille with LED air intakes, the $130 RTR front and rear floor mats (which are also suitable for 2015+ Mustangs), the $370 RTR Tactical Performance adjustable front sway bar (2015-2024 Mustang), $230 RTR undertray extension, or the $1323 RTR Tactical Performance Coilovers (2015-2024MY) are not in stock at the time of writing.

On the other hand, you can still choose the $440 or $300 RTR QuickFit Pro or non-Pro harness, the $230 RTR lower grille, the $250 RTR corner grilles, the $200 RTR hood vent, $160 RTR rear quarter splitters, $375 RTR chin splitter, $100 RTR Performance shift knob, $350 RTR rocker splitters, and a vast array of aftermarket wheels models among other things like front struts, rear shocks, lowering springs, etc.

The latter include the all-new $326-a-piece RTR Aero 5 Mustang wheel, which is sold as a 20-inch model featured in Satin Black, Liquid Charcoal, or Bronze. It is manufactured with Flow-Forming technology and suits not just the 2024 model year Mustangs but also all versions of S197, S550, and S650 Mustangs, starting with the 2005 model year. Hopefully, we will see these aftermarket companies also coming out with performance improvements – Ford is already trying to eat their slice of the pie with that bonkers 800+ hp FP800S concept package presented by Ford Performance at the 2023 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
