What would you do if you saw, through the window of your living room, a few bears checking out your car? Walk out to fight them? Make noise to make them walk away? Film the whole thing? The owner eventually made the best decision and, luckily, it wasn't too late.
Filming is what the owner of a Chevrolet Corvette did for a start when he saw four bears checking out his car. The incident happened somewhere in the United States, but there is no information about the exact location of the events. The group seems to be a mother with three cubs.

The bears walk around the car and sniff around. One is seen putting its paws on the lid of the frunk and licking the Riptide Blue Metallic paint, while another one leans against the right side fender.

40 seconds into the video, the mother bear walks toward the one filming the whole thing from inside the house and looks at him. The owner was afraid that the bears might scratch the vehicle and cause various damage. But the Corvette C8 escaped the claws of the wild animals.

"Get way from the car, man!" the owner is heard saying in another video of the incident. The bears walk away once the owner starts the alarm of the car. They probably went to look for food someplace else.

People in the comments suggested the owner to remote start the car, as the exhaust would have scared them off. Another one told him he should give the bears the car keys, because all they wanted was to go for a joy ride. Joy ride or not, it surely wasn't joyful about seeing his car surrounded by wild animals with big sharp claws.

The owner’s heart must have skipped a beat. The Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray starts at $69,995. It is the money a customer would pay for the 1LT rear-wheel drive, powered by the 6.2-liter V8 engine, linked to a Tremec-sourced eight-speed automated transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. If it is the 3LT version that we are looking at, then that one is a $81,745 affair. Meanwhile, the Z06 starts at $111,795.

The C8 comes with 495 horsepower (502 PS) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque with the optional performance exhaust. 2.9 seconds it takes to go from zero to hero (0-60 mph or 0-97 kph) when equipped with the Z51 package, on its way to a top speed of 190 mph (306 kph).

The Z06 version has to deal with 671 horsepower (680 PS) and 459 lb-ft (623 Nm) for a run from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds, while top speed is 196 mph (315 kph).
