German automaker Audi is reportedly planning to introduce a Volkswagen e-Up!-based electric vehicle by 2015. Surprised? We’re not...
According to Auto Bild, Audi wants to deliver a premium all-electric city car that will greet its customers with an improved interior and an updated infotainment system. Furthermore, Ingolstadt’s future EV will sport different styling, which is more than natural if you ask us.

Rumor has it the Audi will outgun Volkswagen’s e-Up! as far as performance and range are concerned. One single charge will reportedly be capable to push the car for about 200 km (125 mile), 50 km more than the e-Up!,, while power figures are said to be around 114 HP and 270 Nm of torque.

Top speed of 150 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.3 seconds complete the car’s unofficial specs. A little far fetched if you ask us, so be sure to take this with a grain of salt. The electric Audi is also reported to be priced under the €30,000 mark.
