The new A6 Allroad has just been revealed and now we have official pricing for our British readers looking for something with a wagon body and lift-up suspension. Orders in the UK will begin being taken this February, with prices starting at £43,145 on-the-road.
There are three engine choices to go for in total, the 3.0-liter TFSI gasoline V6 with 310 hp and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft), or a diesel V6 in two stages of tune - 204 hp or 245 hp.
All these engine come as standard with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and Audi's quattro permanent four-wheel drive system. Unlike the A4 Allroad, where this is optional, the A6 comes with adaptive air suspension as standard. This lowers the car by 15 mm at high speed and can raise it a the push of a button by 35 mm.
