Can you guys name something more British than racing an Aston Martin around Goodwood palace? We certainly can't, and this is not a normal Aston either.
When the Vantage came out, it was very non-impressive car equipped with a sub-400hp. But look how far it's come! The V12 Vantage S which recently made its dynamic debut at Goodwood is the fastest Aston Martin road car of all time… excluding the One-77.
Thanks to an updated V12 engine, the S puts out 573 PS (565 bhp) and 620 Nm of torque. Because the chassis is smaller than the Vanquish, this allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
It also sound like a squadron of Spitfires with their Merlin engines on full throttle while they fire their machine-guns and a thousand bagpipes play God Save the Queen in the background. It's very cool, but don't take our word for it, just what the video below.
