Few four-wheeled contraptions out there bare a stronger metaphorical resemblance to an automotive design book than the Lamborghini Miura. However, you should expect this to keep digital artists from messing with the styling icon.
Otherwise, you'll be disappointed. Terribly disappointed. And that's because pixel remodelers like Khyzyl Saleem enjoy playing with such automotive heroes and we're here to show you the British artist's latest work.
We're dealing with a Miura that has received an open-top aura, while being gifted with a widebody kit. We do need to go into the details though and we'll start with the stance part of this wicked rendering.
Chrome side skirts aside (you'll see where that idea came from), this Miura has received a Liberty Walk kit. Those of you who are wondering what that is should check out the manner in which the Japanese aftermarket developer can transform a Lamborghini Aventador's appearance.
And, without any intention of ruining people's day, we have to mention that the LB Walk package requires one to cut into the fenders of the... host.
Then there's the Roadster part of the story. While many people know the Miura as a coupe-only Raging Bull, the world has been gifted with a Miura P400 Roadster, albeit as a one-off. Penned and build by Bertone, the open-sky supercar was fully redesigned, featuring much more than just a chopped top. And you'll find a few images of the Miura Roadster to your right.
Nevertheless, while that V12 machine was more of a Targa-style development, the virtual form of the contraption we're discussing today meant the artist could go all-out, depriving the Lamborghini of any rollover safety element. Ironically, you could say this rendering keeps the Miura Roadster's lines as pure as possible.
As for what other kind of pixel work the young artist creates, just yesterday we showed you the man's digital sense of humor in a piece of Porsche 911 - Nissan GT-R play.
