Digital Artist Replaces Nissan GT-R with Porsche 911 in Tokyo Photo Just for Fun

The world wide web seems to be less and less tolerant to those who choose to firmly take sides in famous automotive battles such as the Porsche 911 vs. Nissan GT-R brawl. And we're here to bring you the freshest example of this, using a pretty wild rendering.

The image that served as the starting point for this pixel play was snapped in Tokyo's Akihabara district, focusing on an R35 GT-R. And we have to admit few photos seem more fitting that this image of Godzilla grabbing some attention in the Japanese capital city.

Well, this is where Khyzyl Saleem steps in, with the young British artist deciding to add some depth to the photo. Oh, and while he was playing with 1s and 0s, the artist also took the time to replace the Nissan with a Porsche 911.

You can check out both the original photo and the render to your right, with the differences between the two spreading past the automotive focus of the images, as the blur added around the car might not suit everyone's taste.

As for the reason behind the transformation, here's the artist explaining his work: "My goal here was to render the Porsche specifically for a scene. I chose this shot by HT3image. due to its general beauty and difficult settings. I used the original GTR in this picture as reference for the Porsche. Turned out pretty cool. Done purely for fun & learning purposes,"

So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen, a good old rivalry turned pixel play for self-education purposes. Can you hold something against this guy?

In case you answer is positive, you'd better steer clear of checking out some of his other pieces, such as this Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK (we're sticking with his theme here), which has been butchered in order to become a drag racing animal. Spoiler alert: a Chevy V8 might be involved in this imagination game.
