Ladies and gentlemen Porschephiles, we constantly like to keep an eye out for Porsche 911 GT2 RS specs that stand out. We've already brought you countless configurations of the Rennsport Neunelfer and we are now back in the spotting game. And that's because, despite having shown you so many units of the track special, we have yet to feature one that comes dressed in Amethyst Metallic.
This Paint To Sample shade seems to fit the aggressive, aero-dictated styling cues of the rear-engined toy perfectly, with this being one of the spiciest configurations we've seen to date.
We also have to mention the wheels of the machine. You see, this spec includes the Weissach Package, as well as the uber-light magnesium wheels. However, the owner of the car chose to give up the latter in favor of custom shoes.
To be more precise, the 700 horsepower toy now rides on R101LW rims supplied by HRE Wheels, with these featuring a Frozen Polished Bronze finish.
Since we mentioned the drivers of the car, we'll let you know the Zuffenhausen machine we have here is wielded by Graham Rahal. In fact, the US racing driver also dropped a few thoughts on the bold configuration we have here.
"My new GT2RS, the first known Amethyst metallic example made. Unique, spectacular and thrilling. I tried to add plenty of flavor using the yellow highlights to play off the brake caliper color, and it was a huge success!" the athlete said Instagram.
Of course, those banana-colored calipers means the machine is fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes (that's PCCB in Zuffenhausen langugage).
