The Ingolstadt-based automaker may be one of the most boring in terms of design among luxury producers, but nobody can deny it's also one of the most resilient.
For example, they are preparing an all-out assault across all segments and niches – while also giving us new reasons to discuss their confusing naming strategies. Apparently, since the arrival of the all-new Q6 e-tron all-electric crossover, they are finally ditching the odd powertrain names like 55 TSI or 45 TDI that no one really understood or even cared to remember what they meant if they did. No worries, there's a new subject of controversy – Audi is relocating all ICE-powered variants to odd numbers while even ones will be reserved for all-electric models.

As such, the next A4 won't be called like that when using traditional powertrains but rather the A5 and A4 e-tron if there's an all-electric variant. For sure, many will think that putting an e-tron next to the name should be enough to signal that we are dealing with a zero-emissions variant. Well, that's not exactly self-explanatory for Audi.

On the other hand, at least they are working hard to refresh or renew most of their lineup – just recently, our spy photographer partners have seen a multitude of prototypes out and about, including the RS 6 and Q6 e-tron models, the peppy all-new Q7, RS e-tron GT, A7 Avant, and many more. Naturally, that attracts a lot of attention from the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, as well.

Over there, we have seen the hypothetical design presentations of the RS 5 Avant with 700 hp, the third generation of the discontinued Audi R8 supercar, or the 2025 Q5 and Q9 revealed everything, inside and outside. Well, Nikita Chuicko, the virtual artist better known as kelsonik on social media, thinks now is the right CGI time to play with Audi's second-smallest CUV – the potentially upcoming 2025 Audi Q3.

Once the most petite crossover SUV from the Ingolstadt automaker, the Audi Q3 is preparing for the third generation with a potential switch to controversial split-headlight styling, as per the unofficial rendering from the pixel master. It's stylish, though, as this design trait is usually a lot less observable from a distance on smaller models like the upcoming Audi Q3 rather than something like the BMW 7 Series, for example.

Although it's an all-new generation, the CGI expert makes the most important changes to the front and rear fascia with the new split headlight LEDs, a fresh radiator grille treatment, a redesigned lower bumper, new wheels, additional black plastic bits and pieces, plus new chrome skid plates, as well as a fresh treatment for the C-pillar and LED taillights that now stretch across the width of the little crossover SUV. The profile, meanwhile, is only adjusted to suit the new visuals. So, what do you think?
