According to autocar.co.uk, the stunning Alfa Romeo 4C will make its public debut in production form much earlier than previously reported. The car was expected to be shown at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, but apparently the date has been pushed forward a few months, so now it will be revealed at a yet-undecided venue, in the summer of next year.
The car is rumored to weigh 850 kg – the 1.75-liter engine which is expected to power it will be tuned to produce almost 300 hp, so it will make light work of the featherweight coupe. The weight will be kept so low thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber in its construction. The engine which will be powering the 4C is also at work in the current Giulietta, but in that application it produces 230 hp, enough to make it a viable possibility for a future ‘hot’ Dodge Dart SRT4.

Furthermore, the 159 replacement, the Giulia will apparently be built in two factories around the world, with one of them being possibly located in the US. We will provide you with more information as soon as we have it, as this is a very exciting matter for us as well.
