The Tesla Cybertruck is obviously a Jack of all trades. It looks like a UFO, drives like a sports car, and acts like a workhorse, while, with all the off-roader credentials, it can do some serious off-roading, too. But why would it carry a TV at the back?
Just when we thought that nothing related to the Tesla Cybertruck could shock us anymore, here comes the esla Cybertruck carrying a TV installed on the tailgate, driving and looking as if it has no care in the world, on a highway in Texas, on a rainy day. And what is more interesting is that the TV was on, airing some sort of commercial or video game.

It was Jennifer Portillo who filmed the footage while she was traveling in the company of her family at around 3:30 PM. "Out of nowhere, my family and I see a TV mounted on a Cybertruck," she told Storyful.

The vehicle gets plenty of attention from people who have either never heard of the Cybertruck or have only seen it in photos on the internet. All the hype built around it for the past few years had turned into some kind of a VIP of the road. So, it does not need anything else but its usual angular shape to turn heads everywhere it goes.

Yet one of the few Cybertrucks delivered so far, starting back on November 30, caused quite a stir on the highway, driving with a TV on. The load bed of a truck could have carried just about any TV out there, as it has a capacity of 2,500 pounds (1,100 kilograms) and is 6 feet long. But it is obvious that the owner wanted to make a statement, most likely advertising for something. The short video was uploaded to YouTube by The Su.

"How is it possible for the TV to function on the tailgate?" some may have asked. That’s easy. There are three outlet plugs back there, two of 110V and one of 220V, being capable of powering just about anything, a TV included. We have recently seen coffee specialists set up and plugged in a coffee shop at the rear of the Cybertruck and get people queueing.

The Cybertruck has its very own "TV" on board. There is an 18.5-inch touchscreen, which, considering the layout of the cabin, with the only buttons sitting on the steering wheel, controls most functions of the vehicle.

Among the many features that it displays, the screen can also allow you to smash the windows of the pickup truck to pieces. Only, virtually. It is true that the Cybetruck owner tried to perform the test that failed in November 2019, when Elon Musk introduced the vehicle, and the Design Chief shattered the windows to pieces by throwing a steel ball at them and hitting them with a sledgehammer. This time, the windows remained intact.
