To be more precise, the 'Stang pulled a 6.66-second quarter-mile run at 210 mph, while competing in the x275 vs. Hot Rod class (it belongs to the first category).

In fact, last fall, this Ford was the world's quickest (think: acceleration) and fastest (top speed) GT500 in the 1,320 feet category, thanks to a 6.78s 1/4-mile run at 206 mph.

"Is the thing still street-legal?" we hear you asking? Well, the answer is no. In fact, an important part of the work done to the car involves the chassis.

As for the contents of the engine compartment, the V8 heart of the car has been gifted with a 94mm Precision turbo. The forced induction setup now allows the engine to deliver well north of 2,000 horses, hence the approximation in the title above - the unit delivered around 2,200 hp during the said 2017 shenanigan.

Given the level of performance delivered by the muscle beast, its setup includes mods like a parachute, beadlock wheels to hold the massive racing rubber in place and others.
