The Japanese automaker is so prolific we are afraid that it might run out of ideas for new models soon. Of course, with the vastness of this automotive empire, that's not really going to happen – especially if it also gets help from the parallel universes of vehicular CGI.
Just during the months of November and the first days of December, Toyota has already toured the world with the introduction of the 2025 Camry mid-size sedan and 2025 Crown Signia crossover SUV at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show, the refresh of the Yaris Cross for Europe, the arrival of the $13k Hilux Champ in Thailand, the release of the Land Cruiser Series 70 at home in Japan, and then back on the Old Continent again for the annual Kenshiki Forum in Brussels, Belgium.

The latter contained a lot of novelties – from the Proace Max big van to the announcement of new battery-powered electric models coming to the region. But it also touched upon one of the absolute superstars of the year – the 2024 Land Cruiser opened pre-orders in Europe even though it's not slated to arrive before the third quarter of next year. Speaking of the all-new J250-based off-road SUV, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators also can't let it rest.

After all, they remember that during the official presentation at home in Toyota City, Japan, the 2024 Land Cruiser was accompanied by two mystery vehicles – one was revealed to be the first-ever electric Land Cruiser Se concept presented at the inaugural edition of the Japan Mobility Show, formerly known as the Tokyo Motor Show for almost seventy years. The other is still wrapped behind the curtain as the 'Land Hopper' nameplate proved to be a mobility concept for the same event.

Alas, people are not giving up on the idea that a compact yet body-on-frame Land Cruiser SUV is coming to international markets sometime soon – as another trademark for a 'Land Cruiser FJ' sparked dreams of a spiritual successor for the retro-modern FJ Cruiser that was recently retired from all markets, not just the US. As such, it is no wonder that a trio of YouTube channels - Q Cars, AutomagzPro, and TheAutoReport have asked their resident pixel masters to CGI-envision this SUV – once again.

With the marvelous power of AI assistance, CGI experts have a different design for every feature. As such, the latest idea from Q Cars involves the possibility of a Toyota 'Compact Cruiser' not only adopting a hybrid powertrain – not the 2.4-liter 326-hp i-Force Max but rather the 2.0-liter 196-hp setup from the compact Corolla Cross – but also switching to a sportier and rugged three-door format with a futuristic yet retro appearance.

If that's not to your liking, the good folks at AutomagzPro have a fixation with the 'Land Hopper' name and, too, believe this compact Toyota with a hybrid powertrain is coming soon – albeit this time with a regular five-door body style. Thirdly, if you feel eccentric, TheAutoReport comes with the daily dose of exotic Toyota Land Cruiser FJ (also hybrid) design projects.

So, which is your favorite, and what's the name of the new SUV you believe Toyota will adopt? Suppose you want our two cents on the matter. In that case, we think the 'Land Hopper' idea has set sail already; the 'Compact Cruiser' is cool but may not be cool enough for the company's corner office head honchos, so that leaves us with the potential Land Cruiser FJ as a nod to both models it takes inspiration from.
