The 2025 MINI Countryman can now be ordered in the United States. The price of the new generation went up compared to that of the previous-gen Countryman.
With visual tweaks and power upgrades, the all-new 2025 MINI Countryman now starts at $38,900 on the US market, up by approximately $6,000 from the previous generation. But selling it more expensive makes sense since we are now dealing with a zero-emission model with more horsepower compared to its predecessor. Besides, the carmaker advertises it as being "bigger, funner, MINIer." The 2025 MINI Countryman is 5 inches longer and 4 inches taller than the generation it replaces, which makes it the biggest MINI currently in production.

The entry-level MINI Countryman will be the S ALL4. This variant is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which generates 241 horsepower and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque to both axles.

The previous-generation entry-level MINI Countryman came with the 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 134 horsepower and front-wheel drive, with the all-wheel drive being a $1,500 extra.

The MINI Countryman Electric can be ordered as either an E or an SE ALL4. The E is powered by an electric motor mounted on the front axle, which delivers 201 horsepower (204 PS) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm). This variant can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) in 8.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 106 mph (170 kph).

The front-wheel drive MINI Countryman Electric is able to drive as far as 287 miles (462 kilometers) on a single charge, according to the WLTP testing procedure.

The SE ALL4 comes with two electric motors for a total of 308 horsepower (313 PS) and 364 lb-ft (493 Nm) delivered to both axles. This one goes from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 5.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 112 mph (180 kph). It can drive up to 269 miles (433 kilometers) before it needs to be plugged in again.

There is also a performance-oriented
2025 Countryman John Cooper Works variant available. It is set in motion by the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It is a 312-horsepower (312-PS) affair, with 295 lb-ft (400 Nm), which will hit the American market next year. Performance figures are yet to be announced, but it is expected to be faster than the previous generation.

Pricing starts at $46,900, excluding the $995 destination and handling charge. This one turns out to be a little over $3,000 more expensive than the outgoing generation.

The online configurator has not gone live yet but is expected to be active soon. On the US official website, customers can pre-order their Countryman for a $250 refundable deposit before visiting the local dealership. Deliveries are expected to start in April 2024.
