The JCW (John Cooper Works) logo is reserved for the punchiest MINIs out there, and the 2025 Countryman has just received the sporty treatment.
Following in the footsteps of the regular models that were unveiled a couple of months ago, the 2025 MINI Countryman JCW stands out courtesy of the sporty makeover inside and out. It also packs more punch and features additional tweaks to emphasize its agile character that places it at the top of the 2025 Countryman lineup.

Power is supplied by a turbo'd 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 312 horsepower (316 ps/233 kW) in the United States and 296 hp (300 ps/221 kW) in Europe. Both variants enjoy 295 pound-feet (400 Nm) of torque. According to the spec sheet, the 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) acceleration is dealt with in 5.4 seconds and will run out of breath at 155 miles an hour (250 kph).

MINI says the engine benefits from new connecting rods, pistons, and mounts, as well as a more advanced turbocharger and a dethrottled air intake to the combustion chamber. Just so you won't forget you are sitting in a JCW model, the range-topping 2025 Countryman gets a valved exhaust system, as well as fake engine noise pumped into the cabin in real-time.

The brand's ALL4 all-wheel drive system is on deck, and the sporty crossover comes with 19- or 20-inch wheels that have 245 mm wide tires wrapped around them for improved go-kart feeling. It also gets JCW-styled lighting units at both ends, a different grille, Chili Red accents, and newly designed C-pillars. As you can expect, the John Cooper Works logo bedecks various parts at the front, sides, and rear, including the wheels and brake calipers.

On the inside, the new Countryman JCW is basically the same as the regular one, save for a few sporty touches. It features a red and black color scheme as a nod to the company's racing heritage, exclusive sports seats for the driver and front passenger, and the JCW emblem. Recycled polyester was used on the dashboard's two-tone textile, and elsewhere, it gets the circular OLED display, navigation, voice assistant, and a special go-kart model for a sporty driving experience.

MINI's all-new Countryman John Cooper Works is set to launch next year in the United States, with production for our market kicking off in March 2024 and the first units expected to make their way to dealers two months later. The sporty model will have a starting price of $46,900, excluding the $995 destination charge, options, and dealer fees. This makes it $3,100 more expensive than its predecessor, which features a 301 hp (305 ps/225 kW) and 331 lb-ft (449 Nm) of torque 2.0-liter four-pot, taking 4.9 seconds to accelerate to 60 mph (97 kph).
