General Motors is the biggest US automaker, but it certainly doesn't move as fast as its largest rival – Toyota. The latter has been a driving force across the automotive market with a tidal wave of new model introductions.
These days, GM is more preoccupied with its difficult bet on the EV lifestyle of models like the next-generation Chevrolet Bolt (and EUV), Equinox EV, Blazer EV, Silverado EV, 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, and GMC Sierra EV. But the truth is that ICE-powered vehicles are still the bread and butter of the company – even if no one wants to recognize that.

Subtly yet inexorably, Chevrolet has taken care of its crossovers and SUVs over the past months and has even introduced big-time (both literally and figuratively) models like the next-generation Traverse or the refreshed 2025 Tahoe and Suburban. The full-size siblings got fresh exterior and interior mods, a new signature lighting style, a more extensive and now "best-in-class" 17.7-inch infotainment screen, and more.

As such, everyone can easily imagine that GM will only spend a little bit of time before allowing GMC to also provide the same enhancements to the related Yukon and Yukon XL models. No one really knows when that will happen, as nothing is official yet – but we all know that the rumor mill loves to spill the beans well in advance.

Thus, it is no wonder that the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is always ready to lend a helping hand. For example, Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube, has taken up the task of revealing the refreshed GMC Yukon Denali. As part of the current GMC roster, the Yukon sits at the top of the model range above the Terrain and Acadia – in line with the fully-electric Hummer EV SUV, but also a lot cheaper as it starts from $58,200 instead of $96,550.

Of course, if you want the ritzy Yukon Denali, the difference shrinks quickly – a 2WD packing the 3.0-liter Duramax starts from $76,800, and the 6.2-liter V8 version is at least $78,300. But do you think the pixel masters care about these MSRPs? Not at all, of course – and this CGI expert also only wants the redesigned 2025 Yukon Denali to look pretty in front of the digital camera.

The unofficial changes aren't drastic – the chromed grille has fewer and much larger chrome slats, the LED lights are slimmer but keep the signature DRL style, and the profile is primarily unchanged save for a nice set of blacked-out alloy wheels. At the rear, though, it's easy to recognize this facelift as a significant departure from the current series – the mostly vertical design of the LED taillights is abandoned by the virtual artist in favor of a contemporary horizontal shape that also includes an LED band across the width of the full-size SUV. Cool or not?
