Because sometimes it pays off to be patient, the Ford Motor Company might soon get down in automotive history for producing the most powerful ICE-powered truck ever. But how about the most rugged little SUV?
The Blue Oval automaker is ending 2023 on a high note. On the one hand, there's the 2024 S650 seventh-generation Ford Mustang that will rule the market for American pony cars alone because the sixth-gen Chevy Camaro, along with the Dodge Charger muscle sedan and Dodge Challenger coupe, all ended production earlier in December.

On the other they are entering 2024 with the perspective of a refreshed best-selling truck series – the 2024 F-150 just went through the mid-cycle facelift and is now topped by the newly reworked 720-hp Ford F-150 Raptor R. That one is also going to rule the market for high-performance full-size pickup trucks because 2024 is the final model year for the mighty 702-hp Ram 1500 TRX.

Additionally, Ford is doing great when it comes to rugged stuff, too. That is mainly thanks to the revived sixth-generation Ford Bronco compact (2-Door) and mid-size (4-Door) rugged SUV. Even better, the Bronco nameplate is now a family, and it also has an entry-level unibody Ford Bronco Sport sharing the space with the well-known Escape moniker.

Interestingly, although they were both presented at the same time, Ford is now preparing a refresh for the little sibling instead of the big Bronco. As such, our spy photographer partners have caught the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport out in the wild, testing both styling changes and new additions to the lineup – the Blue Oval has already confirmed during some financial reports (Q3 of 2023) that it aims to expand the offerings across the Maverick and Bronco Sport ranges.

As far as we can tell, for the latter, there won't be major changes on the outside – those are reserved for the cockpit, where Ford has apparently prepared a much larger landscape-oriented touchscreen for the infotainment system (probably running SYNC 4) that might include a 360-degree camera system too. However, for those who think the Bronco Sport also deserves a lot more in terms of exterior styling, there is a solution – the imaginative realm of digital car content creators.

For example, the good folks over at the Car Review Channel on YouTube have some AI-assisted CGI thoughts about the refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport - but they're not alone. In fact, it seems there's a tidal wave of unofficial interpretations of the hypothetical looks of the refreshed crossover SUV – from Real Automotive, REC Trends, TheAutoReport, and A1 Cars. No worries, we have embedded all unofficial videos below for our (guilty) viewing pleasure. So, which one is your favorite and why?
