The Ingolstadt-based automaker has finally woken up from its self-imposed (boring) lethargy, and this year; we are going to see many new model introductions, including the popular Q5 compact luxury crossover SUV.
Since the start of the year, we have seen the refreshed A3 and S3 get a little too many in-car subscriptions, a new design boss coming from Land Rover, an extension of the R8 production through March because the demand was overwhelming, the second facelift of the big Q7, and another fast wagon in the form of the Audi RS 6 Avant GT.

Wait a minute, that wasn't all. Instead, the German carmaker finally ditched the ultra-confusing engine naming scheme – things like 55 TFSI and 40 TDI are now going away, good riddance – with the introduction of the all-new, first-ever Audi Q6 and SQ6 e-tron all-electric models. This is the first model from Audi to be produced on the PPE with 800-volt technology alongside the twin second-generation Macan EV manufactured by Porsche.

It also counts as the forebearer of the other new naming scheme Audi has planned – all ICE-powered models will migrate to odd numbers while even ones will be reserved for e-trons. It's confusing, again, because the e-tron designation was already good enough to make people understand it's an all-electric model, but who are we to intervene with logic and common sense?

Anyway, Audi is also promising an all-out assault against its classic and novel foes like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, or Cadillac, with 20 new models due out by the end of 2025. Among them, the fresh Audi A5, Q5, and A6 e-tron will be some of the greatest stars, plus the intensely rumored Q9 flagship CUV, of course. Well, now the imaginative realm of digital car content creators wants to take care of one of them unofficially.

So, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have a satellite venue dubbed AutoYa Interior, and that's where all the (CGI) Audi action occurs – with the resident pixel master giving us their take on the hypothetical looks of the third-generation Audi Q5. Obviously, they didn't have a lot of guessing to do because the newly released Q6 e-tron provides a solid base of CGI operations – hence the close design traits and the potential carry-over of the quirky new interior design.

However, the CGI expert didn't forget to present their vision of the 2025 Audi Q5 from all digital POVs – including the front and rear plus the cockpit – and they're all awash with numerous ritzy color options. So, which one is your favorite? As for technical details, there are none – but the rumor mill believes Audi will launch both the new A5 (formerly the A4 and A5 series) along with the Q5 on the so-called PPC (Premium Platform Combustion), an evolution of the current VW Group MLB architecture.
