Currently, very few off-road SUVs are available to buy in North America solely with two doors – the Jeep Wrangler and sixth-gen reinvented Ford Bronco are chief among them.
In a world overridden by crossovers, even SUVs and trucks sometimes struggle to make ends meet. As such, gone are the days when you could buy a nimble two-door off-roader in every segment – now you have to settle for the compact 2-Door Jeep Wrangler starting at almost $32k or the $39k Ford Bronco.

Both have a variety of trims – Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X ($57,390) for the Jeep Wrangler and Big Bend, Black Diamond, Heritage and Heritage Limited Editions, Badlands, and Wildtrak ($60,225) for the Ford Bronco. But if you want to really spend a lot, there's always the Land Rover Defender 90 starting from $56,400 and going all the way up to $115,300 because it can be fitted with a 518-hp V8 in the Defender V8 Carpathian Edition.

But what if you want more options in the affordable range? Well, that's going to be hard because most of the rivaling carmakers don't even bother with the 2-door versions and just offer stuff like the Toyota 4Runner or a slew of lesser-prepared crossover SUVs in five-door format only. For example, the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe looks rugged enough to take on the Wrangler and Bronco, but it's still a unibody composition that can't hold a candle next to them on the trails.

No worries, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is always eager to help those who seek to elevate their garage beyond real life. For example, Jim, the virtual artist known as jlord8 on social media, loves messing around with all things CGI from GM and Ford - but now takes a Japanese break or two. Usually, he is a pixel master of Dodge Magnums and Corvette Wagons, but now he's also a little into rugged yet stylish 4x4s.

More precisely, the CGI expert decided the two-door Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler need some digital company in the form of a crimson "new/old" Nissan 'Pathfinder' and a "modern-day" 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 'FJ40.' Well, these models would clearly make Chevy K5 Blazer and International Harvester Scout fans a bit jealous of their old-school two-door looks – and it's entirely (though also virtually) understandable.

Clearly, the CGI expert took inspiration from the ($43,940) 2024 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab Hardbody Edition for this hypothetical 2-door 'Pathfinder,' but completed the looks with first-gen SUV elements, including the quirky side windows and white 'LEGO' wheels. The channel's enthusiasts obviously loved it, called for its creation in the real world, and asked it to be equipped with a removable hardtop.

As for the modern 'Land Cruiser FJ40,' it obviously borrows the look and feel of the 2024 Land Cruiser J250 but with classic steelies and just two doors. Again, everyone loved it, and this time, there was even a white roof to add another touch of old-school style. With the 326-hp i-Force Max hybrid powertrain under the hood, this would probably become unstoppable on any trail, right? So, which one is your favorite and would like to see done in real life?
