One of the most interesting elements of this particular layout is the placement of the kitchen – instead of facing the main entry and using most of the home's length, this kitchen sits on the end wall of the house, taking advantage of its width.

This layout makes the kitchen feel much cozier even though it's still part of a modern open-space configuration. The full-length pantry at one end doubles as a separating element between the kitchen and the lounge for a feeling of discrete privacy. The L-shaped kitchen offers a generous cooking area with multiple cabinets underneath and above. Storage is not an issue, for sure. In addition to a regular-sized sink, the kitchen comes with a compact induction oven, a dishwasher, and an electric oven and fridge.

While cozy and more intimate, Almond's kitchen stays connected to the natural surroundings through smaller windows and a full-length front window. Ample glazing is what keeps the Almond tiny bathed in natural light, adding heaps of luminosity despite the apparently somber black exterior.

The main glass doors easily slide to lead straight into the welcoming lounge. There, you'll find one of the signature Mobi House features – a modular sofa that provides generous storage underneath and also converts to a large bed. Its main job, however, is to provide a relaxing, plush seating arrangement for the home dwellers and their guests.

It's cleverly placed in front of the main entrance, with smaller windows behind, so that it gets the best light at all times. With the doors open during summer days, it seamlessly extends to the exterior, becoming a modern indoor/outdoor entertainment area.

Even though this spacious, versatile lounge could easily be adapted for dinner time, the clever Almond hides a separate solution for that – it's so carefully integrated that it might go unnoticed at first glance. We're talking about a tiny folding table right next to the entrance and a couple of folding chairs that seem to blend in with the ceiling beams where they're stored. In just a few seconds, a cozy and practical dining setup comes together; after the meal is over, everything goes back to the way it was, as if by magic. It's a simple yet ingenious way of adding functionality without taking up any of the main floor space.

A dark green door at the opposite end leads into the bathroom. Colorful bathroom doors are another signature Mobi House element in terms of interior design, just like the gorgeous emerald green velvet sofa and the green overhead cupboard in the kitchen. They help bring everything together without becoming overbearing. Overall, the Almond tiny still shows its Scandinavian-style inspiration despite the strong color accents.

Almond's bathroom is tiny, since most of the main floor space was used for the kitchen and the lounge, but that doesn't mean it lacks anything. In addition to all the basic appliances, it even includes a slim but tall custom-made cabinet for extra storage – always a nice addition, particularly for a permanent residence.

This beautiful 2024 tiny house was able to include such a generous, welcoming living room because it didn't have the typical loft staircase, which does take up a lot of space. Still, it was also too sophisticated to use basic ladders for accessing the loft bedrooms. The solution was to incorporate one ladder on one side and a storage cabinet with so-called "duck steps" on the other side. It was a space-saving solution that was also much more convenient than regular ladders.

The bedroom right above the kitchen area is wonderfully open, which makes it seem even bigger. The double bed is almost surrounded by windows, and the conventional protection wall was replaced by a wooden, open-work alternative that doesn't obstruct the view. The result is a bedroom that feels bright, airy, and connected to the rest of the home. The second bedroom offers more privacy thanks to a full-height, solid protection wall.
