The Ford Motor Company allowed its premium division Lincoln to keep itself occupied these first weeks of 2024, and the company already has two novelties up to snuff.
That's a big roll of the dice because Lincoln currently only has four nameplates on sale in North America and a fifth one internationally (China's Z) – Corsair, Nautilus, Aviator, and Navigator.

In February, the premium brand announced the arrival of the refreshed 2025 Aviator three-row mid-size SUV twinned on the Ford CD6 platform with the facelifted 2025 Ford Explorer. Presented with a redesigned front end, an updated cabin, and refreshed headlights, this is the ritzy alternative to the Ford Explorer ST and Explorer Platinum, as they all share the 400-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6.

Next up, in early March, Lincoln finally announced the market-specific details of the all-new second-generation 2024 Lincoln Nautilus – the smaller mid-size luxury crossover initially known as MKX is now built on the Ford C2 platform and was first released for the Chinese market because now it's exclusively produced in China by Changan Ford instead of China and Canada like the original iteration.

For those who don't need the extra space the refreshed Aviator provides, the Nautilus will be more than enough with the 2.0-liter turbo or hybrid powertrains, especially if the customer really wants to embrace the high-tech lifestyle of living with an SUV packing a humongous 48-inch panoramic screen for the cockpit. Now that we know the interior is enticing, how about the exterior?

Well, suppose you feel that Lincoln was too subtle as far as the exterior styling changes are concerned. In that case, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is already ready and willing to lend a helping hand with the personalization efforts. More precisely, Nikita Chuicko, the virtual artist better known as kelsonik on social media, thinks now is the right CGI time to play with the all-new second-gen Nautilus.

This pixel master always dabbles with the latest releases to make them extra spicy, and his vision of the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus involves the use of his signature 'Shadow Line' treatment (essentially, it's a de-chrome feature) plus the fitment of no less than three types of aftermarket wheels. The first one is a classic Y-spoke design, the second one is a black style to provide a dark contrast, and the third one is matched with the Shadow Line elements, slightly concave and mimicking the Aero Disc look of various famous aftermarket outlets.

So, which is your favorite, if any? Also, do you think that Ford did a good thing by allowing Lincoln to import the all-new Nautilus from China when tensions were high between the two economic powerhouses?
