Having released a few details about the EV9 recently, Kia has finally dropped all specifications for the US market, including the full pricing across the range.
We already knew the family starts with the Light RWD from $54,900, and now we can tell you that the Light Long Range RWD can be ordered from $59,200. For the Wind and Land, interested parties are looking at a minimum of $63,900 and $69,900, respectively, whereas the range-topping grade GT-Line kicks off at $73,900. The latter three have AWD; all pricing excludes the $1,495 destination charge.

Choosing the base version of the 2024 Kia EV9 will still get you DC fast charging. Riding on 19-inch alloys, this model has seating for up to seven, an electrically adjustable driver's seat with ventilation and heating, and several active and passive safety systems. Power comes from an electric motor that drives the rear wheels and generates 215 hp (218 ps/160 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.

The EV9 Light Long Range has a 201-horsepower (204 ps/150 kW) motor and a larger battery pack whose capacity is rated at 99.8 kWh. On top of that, this grade also comes with captain's chairs on the second row. The targeted range is around 300 miles (483 km) on this flavor of the car, which is a significant improvement compared to the 223 miles (359 km) of the base version.

Featuring torque vectoring e-AWD, Kia’s 2024 EV9 Wind brings a dual-motor setup with a total output of 379 hp (384 ps/283 kW) and 443 lb-ft (601 Nm) of torque. It has a taller ground clearance and adds a heat pump and a heated steering wheel. The Land adds 20-inch alloys, a digital pattern lighting grille, a full display mirror, a premium audio system from Meridian, and even more safety gizmos. The tow pack is an option that can increase the towing capability to 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg).

Topping off the 2024 EV9 lineup is the GT-Line, with its tweaked front and rear ends, glossy black touches, and 21-inch wheels. It has exclusive trim on the inside, a standard remote parking assist, and additional features, including special seats with GT-Line embossing, stainless steel pedals, and a head-up display. Powering this trim level is a bi-motor that kicks out a total of 379 hp (384 ps/283 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque.

The Korean automaker says the reservation book for the 2024 EV9 is expected to open on October 16, and the first deliveries for our market should kick off late this year. Moreover, the EV9 will become the brand's first EV to be put together in North America starting in 2024, with parts sourced from global markets and from the United States.
