Ford is counting the hours until the official unveiling of the refreshed F-150. The Dearborn carmaker has come up with what seems to be the last video teaser before debut.
"Get ready for a new standard of tough and smart," Ford warns before rolling out the 2024 F-150, set to debut on Tuesday, at 8 PM ET, which means that there are only a few hours left until we get to see it.

Ford is set to unveil the facelifted F-150 right before the North American International Detroit Auto Show, scheduled to open its doors on September 13.

The pickup truck is getting a slightly redesigned body as well as an updated cabin. The carmaker does not reveal much in the latest video teaser uploaded on Instagram, but informs customers that they should be "ready to do more than ever," which hints at a more capable F-150. What it actually means, we are to find out soon.

But what we do know is that the pickup truck is getting a redesigned front fascia, which integrates a new radiator grille, flanked by restyled headlights. The Ford designers have also redrawn the front bumper and fog lights. At the opposite end, the taillights sport three-dimensional graphics. As usual, Ford should also come up with new colors and new wheel options.

There is no word on any changes that would affect the engine lineup. So, we should still deal with the 3.3-liter V6 with 290 horsepower (294 PS), the 325-horsepower (330 PS) 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, and the 400-horsepower (406 PS) 3.5-liter EcoBoost. At the top of the line sit the new hybrid 3.5-liter PowerBoost V6, which generates 430 horsepower (436 PS) in the company of the 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower (406 PS).

Ford has patented the Lobo designation, that the company has been only using in Mexico and several other markets from Latin America, trying to attract a younger clientele. So, we should also expect a Lobo F-150. But it is yet unknown if it will be a trim or a version carrying a certain engine option. The F-150 is currently available in four trims: the XLT, King Ranch, Platinum, and Raptor) and Ford is expected to keep those as well.

So far, the Ford F-150 has been the digital artists’ darling, as they have been trying for months to figure out what the 2024 model year will bring. Ford has given them a helping hand lately and left little to the imagination as prototypes of the facelift version have been caught virtually undisguised testing on public roads.

We are to find out more about the looks and the engine lineup of the 2024 facelifted Ford F-150 on Tuesday at 8 PM ET.
