General Motors, who doesn't care all too much about passenger cars anymore, has ordained Chevrolet to diligently take care of its crossover and SUV situation and keep its house properly tidy and in order.
Chevrolet, like a compliant subsidiary, did precisely that – even though not exactly in the way its fans wanted it to. So, they announced the impending departure of the sixth generation Camaro pony and muscle car to greener pastures once the 2024 model year wrapped production.

They also ensured that they competed with Ford in every respect – including keeping just one sports car in the lineup – aka the C8 Chevy Corvette. The mighty sports car is more popular than ever, thanks partly to the reinvention as a proper mid-engine hero and the great way engineers conceived the Stingray, 670-hp Z06, and 655-hp eAWD E-Ray models.

As for the crossover and SUV departments, just about everything residing there is new or refreshed. The Trax and Trailblazer make up the pyramid's base with affordable pricing ($20,400 and $22,100, respectively) for anyone looking for an entry-level subcompact CUV. Then Equinox and Blazer count on their compact credentials to take care of business, including in EV format soon.

Recently the mid-size three-row Traverse also got revamped to keep it in line with the company's split-headlight styling and make it even more rugged and purposeful – so it's probably got a higher chance now when meeting the all-new, first-ever 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander in a brawl. Anyway, you can easily see that Chevy is working its way up with the refresh of the CUV and SUV product lineup.

Naturally, that means the big, hulking, body-on-frame truck-based Chevy Tahoe and its larger sibling (Suburban) are next. Frankly, the rumor mill has been expecting this for a long time now, and even the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has had plenty of time to envision both the exterior and interior looks of the upcoming facelift.

The general consensus is that Chevrolet will seek to merge the looks of the Silverado EV with the ICE-powered Tahoe and Suburban – with the latter borrowing the truck-inspired front end with a wide LED light bar at the front. Allegedly it will be doubled by a second one to unify the LED taillights, but – as always – do take all of this with a healthy grain of salt because nothing is official just yet.

The Halo oto channel on YouTube usually provides fresh automotive info that is corroborated with their virtual designs, and now there is (again) a new CGI take on the Tahoe. This time around, they mixed the hypothetical exterior looks of the Chevy Tahoe RST with a quick CGI presentation of the cabin goodies, as well. And the resident pixel master even presented us with the choice of different ambient and trim colors, by the way. So, is it cool or not?
