Hyundai has just unveiled the all-new Tucson N Line, which will go on sale in Europe this spring. Sadly, it's not a full-on sports version of the crossover utility vehicle, but rather a top-end trim, at least for this market.
In the case of the Sonata N Line, Hyundai offers some real changes for the suspension, along with a 2.5-liter turbo engine that's not available on the regular sedan. But the Europeans can pair the N Line with any kind of normal Tucson engine, just like Audi's S line works.

The lineup for the old continent starts with a 1.6-liter CRDI diesel and goes all the way up to the Tucson's powerful new 261 horsepower plug-in hybrid drive. Sorry, no big turbo engine here, at least not yet. But the cosmetic revisions are pretty interesting, and the adaptive suspension has been tuned so that the system "reacts faster and more strongly to both body movements and steering commands."

The styling changes start at the front with grilles that appear deeper-set than on the standard model. The lights look a little different too, and there's a prominent chin at the bottom. We're honestly not fans of these 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels, but the black mirror caps are a nice touch.

Around the rear, the N Line trim brings a new silver diffuser with fins and integrated twin exhaust pipes to the side. Perhaps the best feature is this new Shadow Grey paint finish, which resembles Audi's famous Nardo shade and works in combination with a Phantom Black roof to visually lower the vehicle.

The N Line interior features red accents around the black seats, as well as small revisions to the steering wheel and pedals. It's probably not the most sporty interior in the CUV segment, but Hyundai was probably working on a strict budget.
