Just like the Jeep Wrangler, the Bronco features removable doors. The Ford Motor Company provides a tool kit as standard, regardless of trim level, and it includes the Hex socket you’ll need for removing the doors.
Jon Melton from The Bronco Nation is much obliged to explain the entire process in the following video, starting with the wire connectors. Release and pull them out, use the 13-millimeter Hex socket to loosen the upper and lower hinge bolts, then lift the door vertically to separate it from the vehicle.

In the case of the family-sized Bronco like this Area 51-painted example, you definitely want to spend $350 for the optional door bags. Before placing the doors vertically in the cargo area, remember to prep the trunk with the eye bolts, the retention harness, and straps supplied by Ford with the bags.

With all four doors in the cargo compartment, pull the harness over the top of the doors, strap them down, tighten them snugly, and you’re good to go. Bear in mind, however, that four doors take pretty much all of the available trunk space. It’s also worth mentioning that the Bronco’s doors aren’t exactly lightweight at 45 and 60 pounds (20 and 27 kilograms).

Available from $28,500 and $33,200 excluding destination charge, the Bronco is available in six trims if you ignore the First Edition which has sold out long ago. Even the base model has got you covered with all of the essentials, including a seven-speed manual transmission with a crawler gear.

The stick shift isn’t available on the four-door model and it can’t be combined with the twin-turbo V6 engine option. Customers who want the row-your-own transmission combined with the Sasquatch off-road package will have to wait until the lattermost part of 2021 for the 2022 model year. Oh, and by the way, the "Advanced 4x4 with Automatic On-Demand Engagement" requires the 10R automatic we know from the Ranger and F-150 pickups.

If you’re serious about going off the beaten path, the list of options further includes a winch-mounting kit and a Warn ZEON 10 winch at $2,500.
