Aficionados, look out for a massive change in car-related bar debates across the country - Challenger owners can no longer use Widebody bragging rights when talking to Charger drivers. As of yesterday, the muscle sedan can also be had in full-fat form, with this being offered for the Hellcat and the R/T Scat Pack.
Come to think of it, the range diversity of the Challenger and the Charger reminds me of the Porsche line-up (for instance, the 911 range holds north of twenty derivatives at full maturity).

Well, the aftermarket side of the industry had to take advantage of the extra 3.5 inches delivered by the new form of the muscle sedan. And here we are, talking about a set of renders that portray the 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody wearing custom shoes.

The tuner rims found in the social media post at the bottom of the page come from Vossen Wheels, with the specialist showcasing the 707-pony four-door on mulitple wheels.

We'll also have to see what tuners do in terms of the rubber. You see, the performance upgrades brought by the WB also include fatter and stickier 305/35 R20 rubber supplied by Pirelli.

Then we have the suspension. The new factory setup involve springs that are 35 percent stiffer, along with thicker anti-roll bars for both axles.

There's also an aspect the aftermarket might not be able to change, namely the fact that the 2020 Charger Hellcat has traded the previous car's hydraulic steering for an electrically one that allows multiple levels of assistance.

The range-topping Hellcat can complete the 0 to 60 mph run in 3.6 seconds when in Widebody form, while delivering up to 0.96 g on the skidpad and taking 10.96s for the quarter. Dodge also mentioned the said upgrades bring a 2.1s improvement to the super-saloon's time around a 2.1-mile course.

Make that 4.3s (0-60 mph) and 12.4s (1/4-mile) for the 485 hp R/T Scat Pack.

Of course, with the 2020 Charger lineup set to reach dealerships by the end of the year, it will still be a while until we get to see afteramrket specialist playing with the Mopar toy in the real world.
