Land Rover has been working on a facelift for the entire Range Rover family, and it seems the Sport SVR is the first to come out. However, some of its features will be shared with lesser models.

Only a hours ago, a batch of official photos leaked online. We've also got the specs now. As previously suggested, the 5-liter supercharged V8 now produces 575 HP. It's only 25 more, but we know this powertrain is reaching the end of its capabilities regarding performance. With this extra output, the SVR now rockets past 60 mph in as little as 4.3 seconds.

There's something about the Range Rover Sport SVR that looks like the mask of a person who competes in lucha libre wrestling. But the new design makes it even more pronounced, with a blacked out middle section of the grille and lighting around the "eyes."

The hood is actually of carbon fiber construction and has gained a couple of air vents. These are probably not just for show, as the 5.0-liter V8 has serious cooling needs. It's said that at top performance, the supercharger of the XE SV Project 8 eats up about 190 horsepower. So the heat output of this monster is high.

The honeycomb grille of the updated SVR also has a carbon fiber frame, though it's only noticeable from some angles. Larger air intakes and sharper full-LED headlights might just make us love the RR Sport more than the X6 M. Those massive wheels certainly help, as does the paintjob.

Around the back, the naughtiness of this SUV is expressed with brand new tips for the exhaust system. They have a real chunkiness to them and are accompanied by carbon fiber tailgate trim. Other highlights include a 3D effect for the taillights and the trunk lid spoiler.

On the inside, we see that the Velar's climate control screen has been borrowed. The SVR model has a carbon-trimmed steering wheel, new shifter, and two-tone bucket seats. It's like the F-Type of SUVs in there!
