I know what you are thinking right now. BC stands for Big Cash and you’re completely right about that because this hypercar costs a lot of green dollar bills. The Pagani Huayra BC starts at €2.3 million ($2.55 million), but you can’t have one because all of them have been sold.
With 20 examples of the breed planned for production, the grand total stands at €46 million or $51.17 million. At the heart, the BC is a more extreme version of the Huayra. The performance of this Italian masterpiece speaks for itself: more than 789 horsepower (588 kW) and 1,098 Nm (811 lb-ft). The official output will be unveiled soon. Still curious about the BC in its name? B and C are the initials of Benny Caiola, the first Pagani Automobili customer ever. So Italian, right?

Now let’s go back to the fun stuff. The AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine drives the rear wheels via Le Mans-inspired tripod drive shafts and a 7-speed Xtrac automated manual gearbox with its synchronizers made from carbon fiber. 75 milliseconds is all it takes for the transmission to swap from cog to cog. Don’t, however, think that the BC is an unusable hypercar. Engineers managed to cast off 132 kilograms (291 pounds), which means that the BC has a curb weight of 1,218 kilograms (2,685 lbs). Despite the diet, Pagani didn’t make the interior an uncomfortable place to be in. Not by a long shot.

Unfortunately, no, I don’t know how fast this thing hits 96 km/h (60 mph). We’ll learn that on March 1 when the Pagani Huayra BC will take the stage at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. All I can tell you is that the normal Huayra sprints to that velocity in 3.3 seconds. It wouldn’t be wishful thinking to expect an acceleration time of 3 seconds flat. All the information available on the Pagani Huayra BC can be found in the release attached below.

Editor’s note: It appears that Mr. Horacio is already taking orders for the Pagani Huayra BC Roadster. Given the sold-out status of the fixed head Huayra BC, you’ll have to make a decision fast if you want to have a chance at owning the upcoming Roadster.
