It’s been less than 24 hours since Subaru has released the first teaser for the 2015 WRX, which is scheduled to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, and photo depicting the car leaked onto the Internet.
Surfaced via the Club RZ Facebook page, the picture shows a red WRX that sports a front end familiar to that we’ve seen in Subaru’s teaser shot, which basically guarantees that this is the actual vehicle and not just a rendering.
As we’ve previously mentioned, the 2015 WRX looks like a toned down version of the WRX Concept showcased at the 2013 New York Auto Show and features wide fenders and a huge hood scoop besides the design update.
Little is known about the new WRX’s powertrain, but word has it the new sedan should arrive with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder boxer engine rated at 265 horsepower.
