Not too long ago, we showed you the F30 BMW M3 in its full splendor and now we may have the first image of the BMW M4 Convertible.
The images has leaked online and is allegedly taken from a German brochure of the model. The only thing that could lead us to believe this is fake is the front wheel area, which seems a bit unnatural.

However, the balanced is heavily tipped towards the image being real by the presence of multiple M elements that seem taken straight from the aforementioned M3. We’re talking about the elements on the front fenders, the wheels, the rear bumper, as well as the apron’s integrated diffuser and four tailpipes.

Until get our hands on more details, we have to remind you just how different the M4 Convertible will be to the M3 Convertible it replaces.

Under the hood, the naturally-aspirated 4.2-liter V8 makes room for a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight six. However, the power isn’t expected to climb very much, so we could receive something like 430 HP.

That’s because BMW is using an approach that will see the car gain performance thanks to a weight loss rathern than a muscle gain. Expect a lot of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) elements to be present around the car.
