A leaked dealer bulletin informs that the all-new Ford Mustang in fastback guise will start production at the Blue Oval's Dearborn facility three days from now on. Mark the 15th of September in your calendar as well because the document hints that's the day when the convertible variant will hit the assembly line as well.
Three models will be available at launch. Starting with the entry-level V6 variant priced from $24,425, the lineup continues with the mid-range EcoBoost four-pot holding a $25,995 MSRP and tops with the Coyote V8-powered GT model, which costs $32,925 in the most basic trim level. In addition to pricing, it's been confirmed that six distinctive optional packages will be available at launch.

These are the EcoBoost Performance Package (67E), GT Performance Package (67G), Wheel and Stripe Package (60W), Enhanced Security Package (43S), 50 Years Appearance Package (975) and Premier Trim with Color Accent Package (68B). However, the dealer bulletin gave us an important hint about when the 2015 Ford Mustang will be OKTB or "OK to Buy."

With "in-dealership training coming to top volume dealers" from July to September, the next key launch activity is represented by the fastback's "OK to Buy" date. Up to this moment you could only drop a deposit in order to be one of the first people to own the all-new pony car, but that OKTB date suggests that the 9th of September will be the first day Ford dealers will happily take your hard earned cash if you're in the market for a 2015 Ford Mustang.

In the convertible's case, the OKTB date is planned for the 27th of October, 2014. Additionally, the bulletin also reads that "consumer activation events" and media launches are slated for the fourth quarter of the current year.

We presume that if early production goes well, you might see some showroom cars hit nationwide dealerships as soon as August. As for delivery dates, we expect the first units to be handed over during the first quarter of 2015.
