We've already covered the special edition Stang back in April before and after it was unveiled at the New York Auto Show, but now we can show you how the anniversary pony looks like in the flesh thanks to an enthusiastic fan of the breed that shared a delicious photo gallery on his Imgur account.
Building on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT fastback, the 50 Year Limited Edition is available in only two exterior color options: Kona Blue or Wimbledon White. The vehicle spotted by Imgur user TheB1ackAdderr is finished in the latter hue and boy it looks like it's worth a million bucks.
This one of 1,964 examples ever to be built by the Blue Oval is fitted with a close-ratio six-speed stick shift and it seems like it currently fits the unrewarding role of showroom demonstrator. The manual gearbox comes along with a 3.73:1 ratio Torsen differential as standard, which is just fine for most sideways hooning junkies out there.
Honoring 50 years since the original Ford Mustang was first shown to the American public at the 1964 New York World's Fair, the limited edition model is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine which delivers "at least 420 horsepower and 390 lb-ft (528 Nm) of torque." All four corners are adorned with unique 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Y-speed-rated Pirelli P-Zero summer tires.
Undoubtedly a true collector's piece of American automobilia, the anniversary Stang harks back to the 1960s thanks to a double-brow instrument panel beautified by an axel spin finish and 'Mustang 50 Years' badges everywhere. Cashmere and black leather seats come as standard, along with louvered rear quarter-windows.
