Japanese automaker Subaru has announced pricing information for its 2014 Legacy and 2014 Outback models in the United States.
With the Legacy priced from $20,295 and the Outback from $23,495, both vehicles cost as much as the 2013 model year cars. The most expensive models in each range are the 3.6R Limited Legacy, at $28,895, and the 3.6R Limited Outback, at $32,095. Prices do not include the $795 destination charge for Legacy models and $825 for Outback models.
Both the 2014 Legacy and Outback now come with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard, while the 2.5i version feature the same 173 HP four-cylinder Boxer engine introduced for the 2013 model year. In opposition, the high-end 3.6R variants are powered by a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 256 HP with the help of a five-speed automatic transmission.
