One of the fastest vehicles that have made their debut at their Chicago Auto Show this year is the 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition, which comes with a few sharper exterior, interior and styling elements.
We’ll start with the technical side of the story, which includes a sportier suspension featuring Bilstein DampTronic dampers - Nissan brags that it has carried out comprehensive tests at the Nurburgring to develop the suspension. In addition to this, the brake cooling has been upgraded.

The GT-R Track Edition borrows the Black Edition’s hand-made dry carbon rear wing, as well as special black six-spoke RAYS forged rims, which use mounted with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST CTT run-flat tires. The special edition is offered in five exterior finishes: Deep Blue Pearl, Jet Black, Solid Red, Gun Metallic and Pearl White.

Climbing aboard, we find a new leather and fabric finish for the front seats that offer a high level of grip. At the same time, the rear seats have been removed to save weight.


The 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition is scheduled to hit dealerships across the US in May, with Americans only scheduled to receive 150 units of the car. The pricing hasn’t been announced so far, but we’ll remind you that the base model starts at $99,590.
