The new Redline packaged 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show, bringing subtle changes that blend perfectly into the muscle car's classic-inspired styling.
Built on the Rallye Redline kit that's available for the V6 Challenger, Dodge's new package is available for both Challenger R/T and R/T Plus models. This $1,995 Redline touch is red-hot alright, and the looks of the striped Hemi-powered beast takes us back to the hay day of Chrysler's renowned answer to the Mustang and Camaro.
Besides the subtle body graphics, the Redline package also adds black chrome 20-inch wheels with red accents and a performance tuned exhaust for the six-speed manual transmission. It's needless to say that the R/T Redline Challenger features the legendary 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with up to 375 hp and 25 mpg on the highway.
If you want the package on the 2013 Challenger R/T Plus, standard includes, among others, premium Nappa leather seating, heated front seats, five-speed automatic transmission, and Mopar T-handle shifter.
The Redline vehicles are available for ordering as we speak, but will hit the showrooms this April. When configured with the Redline package, the Challenger R/T and R/T Plus models are priced at $31,990 and $33,990 respectively, excluding the $995 delivery fee.
