This year's Chicago Auto Show is going to be one to remember. That's because the event is hosting Nissan's new Nismo cars, more specifically the Juke Nismo, which is making its US debut, and the 2014 370Z Nismo, a brand new car that's never before been shown.
The new for 2014 370Z Nismo is scheduled to go on sale this summer and features the same body kit and paintjob that we've come to expect from Nissan's in-house tuners. The package is well rounded and adds plenty of appeal to the old sportscar.

If you've ever dreamed of owning a tuned Z car but were put off by the warranty problems, this is the car for you. The 3.7-liter V6 engine now makes 350 horsepower at 7,400 rpm and 276 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm. The extra power comes thanks to the new H-configured exhaust system design and muffler tuning, along with optimized ECM (Engine Control Module) calibration.

Despite this, it still comes with the full factory warranty that even your Altima would have.

The Nismo 370Z rides on super-light 19-inch "RAYS" forged alloys (19x9.5-inch front, 19x10.5-inch rear) in a dar charcoal tone, wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S001 Y-rated high-performance tires (245/40ZR19 front, 285/35ZR19 rear). The brakes have also been upgraded to NISMO Sport Brakes with large diameter 14.0-inch front and 13.8-inch rear vented rotors with 4-piston front and 2-piston rear aluminum calipers.

As for the body of the Z, new dark gray coloring is added to the front and rear fascias, lower side sills, side mirrors and NISMO rear spoiler, with each element (except side sills) featuring NISMO-style red pinstripe accents. In addition, Solid Red replaces the previous Magma Red as one of four 370Z NISMO exterior color choices.

"The 370Z NISMO, since its introduction as part of the original Nissan 350Z lineup, has embodied the spirit of NISMO - race-proven engineering that is attainable. With the enhancements for the 2014 model year and the addition of the new JUKE NISMO, we're unifying the look and feel of these distinctive NISMO models and paving the way for additional NISMO vehicles to follow," said Pierre Loing, Vice President, Product and Advanced Planning and Strategy, Nissan Americas.
