This year’s edition of the Chicago Auto Show brings us a new incarnation of the Toyota Tundra, with the automotive producer explaining that this is a model that’s been redesigned “inside and out”.
The fresh Tundra tries to stand out using features such as a massive chrome grille, masculine styling cues that are connected to those belonging to the outgoing model, as well as new types of alloy wheels, which range from 18 to 20 inches.
As for the engine range, this includes three petrol units and starts with a 4.0-liter V6 that delivers 270 hp and 278 lb-ft (376 Nm) of torque. This is followed by a 310 hp and 327 lb-ft (443 Nm) of torque 4.6-liter V8, while the most potent unit is a 5.7-liter V8 that generates 381 hp and a peak torque of 401 lb-ft (543 Nm).
The pricing for the 2014 Toyota Tundra will be announced prior to the vehicle;s market arrival, which is scheduled to take place in September.
