Spied days before the official unveiling at the 2013 EICMA in Milan, the 2014 CTX1300 is the first step Honda takes in a rather new direction.
The upper-middleweight cruiser segment seems to have been touched by all the turmoils and changes the industry went through during the last years, and the 2014 Honda CTX1300 is juts showing how blurring a bit the lines between two different classes produces a new, nifty machine which might just be the right one.
A mixture of classic lines reinterpreted in a modern fashion, the 2014 Honda CTX1300 blends in the cruiser comfort, touring convenience and an individual design which sets the bike apart from its peers.
In a way, the 2014 CTX1300 is a smaller, less extravagant version of the F6B and could complement Honda's line up pretty neatly, especially with a Deluxe version which brings blacked-out accents and more comfort-oriented features.
Asphalt&Rubber expects a $17,000-ish (€12,575) price for the base version. Check out more tech specs in the attached PDF after the jump.
